Products that are available on “Order Only” or “Available On Backorder” are not currently in stock, they are either ordered but not yet arrived or can be ordered from the supplier once purchased.
PLEASE NOTE: 4 to 6 months waiting period will apply on most backorder items. only exceptions being all mattresses and most upholstered couches.

Shipping Online Purchases:

  • Nationwide Delivery: Sotran offers nationwide delivery for all items
    purchased online. Courier: Small items (less than 15 kg/vol) purchased online will be shipped via courier to your door. Dispatch is within 2-5 business days after items pass Quality Control Inspection, and delivery takes 2–10 business days, depending on the delivery location (Gauteng – 2-5 days / remote areas – up to 10 days). Delivery: Sotran can deliver large items in the Gauteng area with our own delivery vehicles. The cost for delivery in Gauteng is based on the “delivery distance” from our Boksburg warehouse. Product size or quantity does not affect the delivery cost. Main Area Delivery: Our new low-cost option for deliveries to main
    cities and towns outside Gauteng. Please note, this is a drop and go service and does not include unwrapping or assembling of products. These deliveries can take up to 14 days, dependent on the schedule of the third-party delivery company. Remote Area Delivery: Freight services are used to deliver large items outside Gauteng and not within our listed Main Areas; the website gives an estimated cost upon checkout to deliver to all provinces outside Gauteng. These deliveries can take up to 20 days. (Please note: delivery cost outside Gauteng may vary from the online estimate, if unseen difficulty is experienced by the transporter.) Collection: Clients can collect their online purchases from any of our Sotran branches, once you have indicated to the salesperson you intend doing so. Your order will be ready for collection at the Boksburg branch within 2-5 business days or at the Design Quarter store within 7-9 business days after successful purchase, unless otherwise informed. By placing an order, you acknowledge that certain items, particularly those crafted from natural materials, are subject to detailed Quality Control Inspection and may require necessary pre-delivery touch-ups in our workshop following your purchase. Sotran Trading 57CC reserves the right to perform such essential workshop repair or rectification to ensure the item meets our quality standards before dispatch. Should your item require this process, the standard delivery time will be extended. We will communicate the details and the updated estimated delivery time to you immediately upon identifying this need, allowing you to stay fully informed regarding your order status.

    SADC Country deliveries: Clients are to organize their only local agents in South Africa. Sotran will supply documents needed for export and Customs Control as requested. Sotran can deliver to local agents’ locations, as per normal conditions listed above. Note, export crating can be supplied at extra costs, please request a quote.

Main Area Delivery Terms & Conditions
  • Items to be delivered via “Main Area Delivery” will be within 14 days of purchase.
  • Delivery service does not include assembly and or unwrapping.
  • Delivery on the second or third floor will be charged at the base cost applicable to the area as well as a surcharge of R450
  •  Deliveries charges are calculated based on the combined volumetric size of the goods purchased and or the weight whatever is the greater value.
  • The responsibility rests on the buyer to ascertain the feasibility of the goods fitting where needed including general access for the truck to the chosen position.
  • Sotran or a third-party service provider will not be held liable if access is not adequate and any damage is caused to the structure.
  • Standard delivery team is 2 men. An extra labour charge will automatically be applied for items above 150kg
