Terms & Conditions.

Orders and acceptance.

• All orders placed are subject to availability and acceptance by us.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to: errors in product or pricing information, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.

Product descriptions and pricing.

• We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate. However, errors may occur.
• In the event of a pricing or product information error, we reserve the right to correct it and cancel any orders placed with incorrect information.
• All prices are in South African Rands (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Delivery.

• We deliver within South Africa only.
• Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on location, stock availability, and external factors.
• Standard delivery usually takes between 4 to 10 working days.
• We are not liable for any delays caused by third-party courier services.
• The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Additional delivery charges may apply for failed or re-scheduled deliveries due to incorrect addresses.

Delivery fees.

• Delivery fees are calculated based on the order size, weight, and location, and will be disclosed at checkout.
• Free delivery promotions, if any, will be subject to terms specified in the promotion.

Returns and exchanges.

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
• A valid proof of purchase must be provided.
• Custom-made or special-order items are not eligible for return unless defective.
• You are responsible for the cost of returning the item unless it was delivered damaged or incorrectly.
• We reserve the right to refuse a return or deduct a handling fee if the product is not returned in its original condition.

Refunds.

• Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 working days of receipt and inspection of the returned product.
• Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
• If the product is returned due to a manufacturing defect or delivery error, the full purchase price including shipping will be refunded.
• Shipping costs are not refundable, unless the product was not dispatched.
• Returns collected by us will carry a collection fee that will be deducted from the refund total.

Damaged or defective items.

• If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and a description of the issue.
• We will arrange for inspection and, if necessary, collection and replacement or refund.
• Normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse are not covered.

Product warranties.

• Most of our products carry a limited manufacturer's warranty.
• Warranty claims must be supported by proof of purchase and be within the applicable warranty period.

Errors and omissions.

• We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information without prior notice.
• This includes errors in pricing, product descriptions, promotions, shipping charges, and availability.

Intellectual property.

All content on our website including images, logos, text, and design is the property of Sotran and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Limitation of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sotran shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

Governing law.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

Changes to terms.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
