GRC, or Glass Reinforced Cement, is a high-strength, durable material made by combining cement and fine glass fibers. This combination results in a versatile material that is lightweight, weather-resistant, and not prone to corrosion.
GRC is a durable and lightweight material, making it ideal for statues and smaller decorative items. Its strength ensures that the pieces remain sturdy without being overly heavy. GRC also offers excellent weather resistance, making our items perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.
GRC offers several advantages over traditional concrete. Unlike traditional concrete, which can be heavy and prone to cracking, GRC is much lighter and more flexible due to the inclusion of glass fibers. This allows for greater durability and resistance to impact. Plus, GRC’s superior weather resistance means it can withstand extreme temperatures and harsh elements.
Yes. GRC decorative items are highly suitable for outdoor use due to their excellent weather resistance. They can withstand harsh environmental conditions, including rain, UV exposure, and temperature fluctuations, without cracking or deteriorating. GRC is also non-corrosive and resistant to moisture.
GRC statues are significantly lighter than regular concrete statues. In fact, GRC can be up to 75% lighter than traditional concrete, thanks to its innovative composition of glass fibers and cement. This reduced weight makes GRC statues easier to handle, transport, and install without compromising on strength or durability.
GRC statues and ornaments can last for decades—often exceeding 50 years or more. The combination of cement and glass fibers creates a material that is highly resistant to cracking, weathering, and corrosion, which helps it withstand harsh environmental conditions.
GRC items require minimal to no maintenance. For indoor pieces, simply dust or wipe them down with a damp cloth. For outdoor items, a gentle wash with water occasionally will help keep them clean. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to preserve the finish.
Yes, GRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) is considered environmentally friendly. Its composition uses less cement compared to traditional concrete, which reduces the overall carbon footprint during production. The durability and longevity of GRC items also reduce the need for frequent replacements, reducing waste.
