Can I use this table indoors as well as outdoors?
Yes. The acacia-on-steel construction works equally well indoors. Some buyers use it as a primary indoor dining table; the outdoor-rated finish means it handles spills, scratches and heavy use without the fragility of indoor-only tables.
Is FSC certification verified or just claimed?
FSC certification is independently audited under chain-of-custody standards. Sotran's FSC-certified pieces carry verifiable certification through the supplier chain.
How many people does it actually seat?
Eight comfortably (three chairs per long side plus a carver at each end), ten at full capacity (four per side plus two ends) for occasional larger gatherings.
Will the acacia weather grey if left in full sun?
Yes — this is normal acacia behaviour. Regular oiling (twice yearly) slows the greying. If you prefer the natural silvered look, leave the timber to weather; it doesn't affect structural integrity.
