Calvino Teak Plasma Unit/Stand

Q: Where does the Ridley Side Table work best in a home?
A: The compact 40cm diameter and 56cm height make the Ridley ideally suited to placement alongside seating rather than as a central coffee table. It works beautifully next to a lounge chair as a drink and book surface, alongside a sofa arm to hold a lamp or tray, at the bedside for a minimalist alternative to a full pedestal, or in a reading nook as a compact side surface. The industrial matte black finish suits Industrial Farmhouse, modern boho, urban loft and minimalist contemporary interiors particularly well, and the weighted base ensures stability even with drinks and heavier items on the surface.

Q: What does "One Chance Deal" mean for this product?
A: "One Chance Deal" is Sotran's designation for one-off clearance pieces that are not available on reorder once the current stock has sold. With 1 unit currently in stock, once the Ridley sells, an identical replacement will not be available. The steeper clearance discount (25% versus the sitewide 20%) reflects the end-of-line status. If you're considering the piece, we recommend acting promptly to avoid disappointment.

Q: How do I care for the solid steel matte black finish?
A: Wipe the surface gently with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth to lift dust and light marks. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and rough scouring pads, which can dull or scratch the matte black finish. Use coasters under drinks that may leave rings or condensation on the surface. If small scratches occur over time, they add to the piece's industrial character but can be minimised with careful placement of decorative objects. Keep away from prolonged high humidity conditions to preserve the finish integrity.

Q: What warranty and delivery does the Ridley Side Table come with?
A: The Ridley is covered under standard warranty terms for metal furniture (full terms available on our warranty pages, or contact our team for specific coverage details on all-steel pieces). Delivery is nationwide across South Africa with an estimated window of 4 to 10 business days. The side table arrives fully assembled with no assembly required, and given its compact 40cm footprint, standard delivery applies for most locations. Because this is a one-off clearance piece, we recommend confirming your delivery date early. Collection is also available from our Boksburg HQ, Fourways (Design Quarter) and Somerset West stores.
