Floral Wall Hook
A small piece that does more than its size suggests. The Floral Wall Hook combines a hand-carved wooden backplate with a single black metal hook — two materials, two finishes, one practical surface for the things that otherwise pile on chairs.
The wooden backplate carries a carved floral motif finished in distressed white-wash. The metal hook is finished in matte black, providing the contrast that lifts the carved detail forward against the lighter wood. The 30cm vertical orientation matters: it suits narrow wall sections where wider hook racks won’t fit — beside a doorway, in a tight bathroom corner, on the slim wall between a wardrobe and a window.
The hook works two ways. Mounted individually, it functions as a small accent piece — the kind of detail that builds character in a hallway, bedroom, or guest bathroom. Mounted in a row of three or four, the hooks build a custom-spaced hanging rack that fits the wall section it occupies, rather than the dimensions a manufacturer chose. FAQ
Is the carving identical on every Floral Wall Hook?
No. The motif is hand-carved and the white-wash is hand-applied, so the depth of the carving and the distribution of the wash vary slightly between pieces. The base pattern is consistent; the individual character is not.
Can I mount it in a humid bathroom?
A well-ventilated bathroom is fine. A poorly ventilated bathroom — or a position right above a shower or bath — will gradually soften the white-wash finish over time. Position it on a wall away from direct steam, and the finish holds.
How do I space the hooks if I'm mounting several in a row?
For coats and jackets, space the hooks 25–35cm apart so each garment hangs without overlapping its neighbour. For lighter items (towels, robes, hats), 20cm spacing works comfortably. Mark the screw positions with a pencil before drilling so the row sits level across the wall.
Will the wood split if I drive a screw into it?
Drill a pilot hole first if you're mounting through the carved face — pilot holes prevent the carved wood from splitting along the grain.

Please inspect your items upon delivery. If any item arrives damaged, notify us within 24 hours of delivery by contacting our customer service team with photos of the damage. We will assess the issue and arrange a repair, replacement, or solution where applicable.
Most furniture items are delivered fully assembled, unless otherwise stated on the product page. If assembly is required, this will be clearly indicated in the product description.
For larger furniture deliveries, our team will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time. If delivery cannot be completed due to absence, additional delivery fees may apply.
Standard delivery is to the entrance of the premises. If access is difficult (stairs, narrow doorways, long distances, etc.), please notify us beforehand so we can advise accordingly.

You may also collect your order from Sotran Boksburg, Design Quarter (Fourways), or Sotran Somerset West (Cape Town) once availability at the branch has been confirmed.
