What is the difference between River Stone, Bulan, and Grey Stone basins?

River Stone: Carved from natural boulders found in Indonesian rivers. They have a raw, “as-found” exterior and a polished interior.
Bulan & Organic Grey Stone: These are often sculpted from volcanic or mountain stone, offering a more refined organic shape while maintaining the natural, textured look on the outside.

Will my basin look exactly like the one in the photo?

No, and that is the beauty of the range! Every basin is one-of-a-kind. Because they are handcrafted from natural stone and wood, the shape, color shading, and exact dimensions will vary. You are purchasing a unique piece of nature.

Is the Galuh Teak Basin actually waterproof?

Yes. Teak is world-renowned for its high natural oil content, which makes it resistant to water, rot, and decay. The Galuh basin is meticulously finished to ensure it is fully functional for daily bathroom use.

Do I need a special drain or pop-up waste?

Most of our basins are designed for standard plumbing fittings. However, because the base of a natural stone basin can be thicker than a ceramic one, we recommend a “Long-Tail” pop-up waste to ensure it reaches through both the basin and your countertop.

How heavy are the stone basins?

How do I maintain the Teak Galuh Basin?

Simply wipe it dry after use to prevent soap scum buildup. If the wood begins to look “thirsty” or dry after a year or two, you can lightly sand it and apply a fresh coat of Teak Oil to restore its rich, golden glow.
